Livingston County Sheriff Tony Childress advised that on 5/17/17, at about 0758 hours, a drug investigation led the Livingston County Proactive Unit to execute a search warrant at 1417 N. Aurora Street, Pontiac, IL.

During the investigation 2 vehicles worth approximately $3,200, property worth $4,485, over 200 grams of cannabis, and misc. drug paraphernalia were seized as evidence.

Ransom Fellers (Pontiac) was arrested on Possession of Cannabis and Manufacture and Delivery of Cannabis charges. Agencies involved with the arrest and search warrant were the Livingston County Proactive Unit, LCSP Patrol Units, Livingston County Detective Section Pontiac Police Department and the Dwight Police Department.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Proactive Gang/Drug Unit advised that on 5/9/17, at about 1630 hours, a drug investigation led to the arrest of Charles Entwistle at the intersection of Bloomington and Second St. Streator, IL.

During the investigation over 12 grams of heroin and $600.00 U.S.C. were seized as evidence.

Charles Entwistle (Streator) was arrested on Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance charges. Agencies involved with the investigation were the Livingston County Proactive Unit and the Dwight Police Department. The investigation is ongoing with more charges possibly pending.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Proactive Gang/Drug Unit advised that on 5/4/17, at about 1403 hours, a drug investigation led them to execute a search warrant at 1605 S. Vermillion St. Streator, IL.

During the investigation over 15 grams of heroin, $600.00 U.S.C., and hypodermic syringes were seized as evidence.

Jodie Yanek (Streator), Harry Bohannon (Streator), Alivia Goplin (Streator), and Christopher Derossett (Streator) were arrested on Manufacture and Delivery of Controlled Substance charges. Agencies involved with the arrest and search warrant were the Livingston County Proactive Unit, LCSP Patrol Units, Livingston County Detective Section and the Dwight Police Department. The investigation is ongoing with more charges possibly pending.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Police advised that on 12/28/16, at about 2117 hours, Livingston County Pro-Active Unit and Dwight Narcotics Unit conducted a search warrant at 317 ½ Cleary Street, Pontiac, IL. During the investigation, heroin weighing approximately 1.5 grams, 2000 Ford Crown Victoria, and $325.00 were seized. Shirley Miller (Fairbury), Cedric Fuller (Decatur), and Jonathan Chambers (Pontiac) were charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Fuller and Miller were also arrested on Warrants for Delivery of Controlled Substance.
 
Agencies involved were the Livingston County Pro-Active Unit and Dwight Narcotic Unit, Pontiac Police Dept. and Livingston County Sheriff’s Police.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Police advised that on 12/24/16, at about 2113 hours, Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, ISP, and Fairbury PD responded to the 200 block of West Jackson Street, Cullom, in reference to a subject being stabbed.  The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital. The victim is in stable condition.

During the investigation Officers located a Marijuana grow at 213 W. Cleveland Street, Cullom.  Officers seized 24 cannabis plants and 471grams of cannabis and misc. grow equipment.  Lonnie Dailey was arrested for Manufacture/Delivery of Cannabis.

Agencies involved were the Livingston County Sheriff’s Police, ISP, Fairbury Police Department, and Livingston County Pro-Active Unit.  The stabbing remains under investigation.

Livingston County Sheriff’s Police advised that on 10/5/16, at about 1930 hours, an investigation led the Dwight Police Department and Livingston County Pro-Active Unit to conduct a traffic stop on I-55 near Dwight. During the investigation, 96 baggies of heroin weighing 36.6 grams were seized. Robert M. Simpson (M/W 11/7/75), of Bloomington/Pontiac, and Kelly A. Dougherty (F/W 11/1/75), of Pontiac, were arrested for the Possession of a Controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Agencies involved were the Livingston County Pro-Active Unit and Dwight Police Department, Dwight K-9 Unit, and the Pontiac Police Department.

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Police and surrounding Agencies have been fielding a number of calls in reference to “Clowns” in the area. There have been no substantiated claims, by any local police agency, of anyone dressed as a clown committing any crime at this point.

All persons are reminded that any report to the police is taken seriously and false reports will be investigated and the possibility of charges filed for making a false police report.

Also, persons knowingly and without lawful authority entering or remaining within or on a building; entering upon the land of another, after receiving, prior to the entry, notice from the owner or occupant that the entry is forbidden; remaining upon the land of another, after receiving notice from the owner or occupant to depart, may face charges for criminal trespass.

If anyone sees suspicious persons or vehicles, please contact 9-1-1 when it occurs. Deputies are available at all hours, day or night. The Sheriff’s Office and surrounding Agencies would rather investigate a suspicious person, than a break-in to your residence. YOUR information may be what leads to solving a crime.

The Sheriff’s Office encourages residents to be vigilant in securing their vehicles, out buildings, and homes.
